Crowd messaging at Notting Hill Carnival
Crowd messaging at Notting Hill Carnival
Notting Hill Carnival is one of the largest street festivals in the world, and the biggest in Europe. On 24 and 25 August 2025, nearly two million people filled the streets of London’s vibrant Notting Hill to celebrate Caribbean culture. The event stands as a powerful symbol of Caribbean identity in the UK and the resilience of the Afro-Caribbean community.
Mass gatherings on this scale demand strong safety measures, and above all, effective communication! With constant movement, loud music and packed streets, keeping everyone informed at the right moment is a major operational challenge.
That’s where CrowdCows came in.
With 14 HIKERS, our custom-built software and proven crowd messaging and behavioural influence techniques, we supported Notting Hill Carnival by enabling fast, dynamic communication between public safety teams and festival visitors. Clear messages, delivered at the right time and place, improving experience and safety for everyone.
