For five days and nights, Parookaville turns Weeze airport into the city of Bill Parooka, with the world’s biggest DJs and more than 80,000 visitors a day. Guiding that many people safely and smoothly across the festival grounds and campsites calls for clear, real-time communication. That is why the organisation brought in crowd communication from CrowdCows.
With our Integrated Crowd Communication System we kept visitors continuously informed: programme overview, wayfinding, house rules and atmosphere clips. From the command vehicle, our operator drove the HIKER screens; in an emergency the messaging switches straight to safety announcements.
