Crowd communication at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort

After 36 years away, Formula 1 returned to Circuit Zandvoort. To guide the crowds of this race weekend safely and smoothly, the organisation brought in CrowdCows and our Integrated Crowd Communication System for crowd communication.
On a circuit where tens of thousands of visitors move continuously between grandstands, access zones and transport, clear real-time communication is essential for safety and flow.
From the central control position, our operators delivered the right messages live on the HIKER screens around the site — wayfinding and crowd-density information in normal conditions, switching instantly to safety announcements in an incident.
