Crowd communication at major celebrations
Major victory celebrations bring huge crowds together in a very short time. At the Feyenoord celebration, around 150,000 supporters streamed at once to the Coolsingel and Hofplein in Rotterdam. Guiding that many people safely and smoothly calls for clear, real-time communication. That is why the organisation brought in crowd communication from CrowdCows.
The live feed for the screens and the police safety messages ran through our Integrated Crowd Communication System. With an extensive Riedel fibre network and a DVB-T2 transmitter as backup, nothing was left to chance. A week and a half later, we also handled the communication for Ajax’s Europa League final celebration at the Museumplein in Amsterdam.
